Copier repairs outside our normal service area may be available for an additional travel charge.
Your location determines the charges, and you agree to them before service is scheduled.
Important: Doctor Copy does not provide service in Boston proper.

Pricing
Rate: $135.00 per hour, All Wide Format Copiers are $165.00 per hour
Our on-site service rate applies to:
- Black & White Laser Copiers
- Color Laser Copiers
- Color Inkjet Copiers
The hourly rate covers technician labor while on-site, Parts, supplies, and materials required to properly complete the repair are additional.
Additionally, the problem may require the technician to diagnose the printer before identifying the parts. A Doctor Copy Technician will discuss anticipated Copier repair costs and parts before any further work is done.
Carry-In Copier Service
Rate: $60.00 per hour
Carry-in service is available for:
- Black & White Laser Copiers
- Color Laser Copiers
- Inkjet Copiers
Please note the words “Carry In” meaning by one regular person, we have had to turn away customers with 100 lb. office machines.
One-hour minimum applies.
Please contact Doctor Copy before bringing in your printer so we can confirm service availability for your make and model.
Parts & Additional Charges
The hourly labor rate does not cover the parts required to service or repair your Copier.
Pricing depends on the Copier’s manufacturer, model, availability, and whether the part requires special ordering.
Additional charges may apply for special-order parts, materials, or services requiring additional time.
30-Day Repair Guarantee
We guarantee all completed repairs for 30 days from the repair date, subject to the repair’s nature and scope.
The guarantee does not necessarily cover:
- New problems unrelated to the original repair
- Accidental damage or physical damage occurring after repair
- Customer misuse or improper operation
- Normal-wear or consumable items such as toner, ink, and drums
- Problems caused by subsequently installed parts or equipment
If you experience a problem related to the original repair during the guarantee period, contact Doctor Copy promptly so Doctor Copy can evaluate the issue.
